Are there any southern California beaches with bbq pits, and not just fire pits? Redondo beach maybe?

My friends want to take carne asada to the beach, so I don’t think a fire pit would be the greatest help. So I’m in seach of some beaches that have bbq pits… any beaches between Long Beach and Laguna Beach. Thank you!

If you go a little further to Doheny State Beach, I know they have some there.
(Redondo isn’t between Long Beach and Laguna, and there aren’t any right on the beach. I believe there are some in the grassy park next to the beach there)
I believe that there are also some at Main Beach Park in Laguna.

How can I make an awesome fire pit that doesn’t blow smoke in my face?

I want to make a huge fire at my cottage that doesn’t blow smoke in my face, and also doesn’t make a lot of smoke.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire, as the saying goes. The same holds true transversely. If you want to enjoy a fire pit you’re going to get smoke in your face from time to time.
The best you can do to combat this, barring a ridiculous exhaust fan contraption, is to be sure to use dry wood. Damp, or freshly cut wood will smoke you out every time. And if you are having a fire on a windy night, that will be a bit of a problem too. If you keep the flames high the convection will carry the smoke away with it. Keep it hot and keep it dry. When it starts to smoke, add more dry wood. Do this and you will rarely be bothered, but you will still be bothered from time to time. Suck it up. You’re outside. Next you’ll be wanting air conditioning when the fire gets too hot? Princess.

Does anyone know the rules and regulations on using those metal backyard fire pits in Philly?

We have a small metal backyard fire pit (the kind you buy at the local target or lowes store). I am trying to find out if it is legal to use in Philadelphia (for burning fire wood of course) and what the city rules and regulations on this might be. I have tried Phila.org. , the fairmount park commission, and the fire dept web sites for answers. No luck. Can anyone help me out please? Thanks!

Any one know any beaches In the Orange County area that have fire pits for a bomb fire?

Preferably In the south OC area.since I live In Laguna Hillss! Or any local camp sites.

Annnnyywayss, Huntington Beach is not in southern Orange County, guys… Anyways, try Newport Beach (Corona del Mar) because it is the closest area with fire pits I know to the Laguna Hills-Beach-Niguel area.
