What do i do with a dog that eats shoes, pants, grill covers, more shoes, digs giant holes, and chew any thing

He will chew any thing he gets his paws on. I NEED HELP PLEASE
I have a golden retriver and we’ve tried the crate, smacking him, yelling at him and we really hate to do that t’s just came down to that and we can’t take him on walks because he runs to fast and barks to the piont where we just have to go home and i might try the spray but we never catch him in the act so if we spray him after that he won’t know what it’s for and yes he’s still a puppy and the cutiest and very smart puppy but he just always has to chew things and we got him a toy and he just plays with it for about 30 seconds then goes to the next thing
Also i don’t think he’s bored because we have another beautiful golden that he can play with and i don’t know why he won’t learn from her example she’s a very good dog so i wish he would learn from her

Crate him when he is unsupervised. I learned the hard way. My dog chewed through an air conditioning cord and also chewed on my expensive shoes – but left my ex’s work boots alone.

The dog had taste. :)

I need to replace the covers on my speaker grill?

I have the old Bose 901′s Series IV. Is there anything special that needs to be done?

Are you talking about the loose weave cloth on the outside of the speaker boxes? If so, “speaker grill cloth” is available fairly widely in a range of colours/weave patterms. Prpoer speaker grill cloth is supposed to be acoustically transparent or at worst to cut sound transmission more or less equally across the whole audible range.

If you want you can buy a length of grill cloth of a suitable colour (here’s your chance to change it if you want) and replace the existing stuff on the forms (assuming there is one). You could also just use some loose weave fabric from a fabric store … but risk it blocking some frequencies more than others (probably treble more than bass) and “colouring” the sound.

Alternatively, you can take the purist audiophile approach and simply remove the grills … and tell everyone it is to ensure minimal colouration of the music.

How to repair a return air grill in the hallway?

Recently I purchased a home that the only way to change the furnace filters was to change them directly from the furnace. However, there is a return air grill in the hallway but there is no place to put the filter. I thought it would take a 20x20x1 grill so I started cutting some of the sheet rock in order to replace the grill with one that I could actually place a filter in. Well to my surprise after cutting away some of the sheetrock the area should only be for for a 20×16 filter but now the the return air grill will not cover the area that I cut. How can I repair that to get it to work?? Do I need to purchase a piece of sheet rock and cut out an area to cover the hole and then recut to fit the grill??

The cheapest thing to do is get a grill that will fit your new hole. They’re less than 10 bucks wholesale. Maybe that retail

How do I open the bonnet of a Meriva if upper half of grill is covered with silver colored stripe?

normally there should be a lever near the centre of the grill but since this half is covered I can’t find that lever.
Thanks for your help.

Pop bonnet by pulling lever that is positioned adjacent to drivers right leg in footwell, slide fingers under popped bonnet and press upwards the secondary lever that is holding the bonnet, lift bonnet and secure with bonnet stay.

Why do air conditioning tines inside the grill get bent?

I have a brand new air conditioning unit and the small metal rows of openings just inside are getting bent – how does that happen? It’s covered with a grill.

Those are the radiator fins, they are so delicate that the lighttest Touch cna bend them. Usually they willget tweakewd when you install the AC. Even the casing pressing against them will cause a bend. The only way to avoid it is to be so very carefull installing it. You can try to smooth them out ny slipping a flat head screwdriver between them. Ht ususally works for mw but you will never get it perfect.
