Any one know any beaches In the Orange County area that have fire pits for a bomb fire?

Preferably In the south OC area.since I live In Laguna Hillss! Or any local camp sites.

You mean bonfire? LOL.

Annnnyywayss, Huntington Beach is not in southern Orange County, guys… Anyways, try Newport Beach (Corona del Mar) because it is the closest area with fire pits I know to the Laguna Hills-Beach-Niguel area.

Can I use fake logs (compressed wood) in portable outdoor fire pits?

There should be no problem with doing this. Fake logs are compressed sawdust. Usually nothing more is added, but occasionally wax. Fumes from these logs shouldn’t be much different than ordinary firewood. I wouldn’t enjoy breathing them in, but I certainly would roast marshmallows over the fire. Duraflame says not to cook with them, but doesn’t cite toxic fumes as a reason. Check out the links below.

We make cement table tops for fire pits 44×44 round and sq. 1 in. thick?

we use rebarr in the middle but we are having alot of cracks and breakage. What is the right formula to use in the cement to avoid this???

In addition to the other answerers, who I also agree with, one inch may not be thick enough. One inch dries pretty quickly, which you need to slow down–but I think you need to make the piece thicker. Cement is not that expensive–so why don’t you experiment with making a 2 inch thick piece to see how it cures?

I make ground level wading bowls for wildlife and I use plastic to cover them while they cure. No cracking.

What time should I get to Huntington Beach to get a good spot for the Fireworks? Do they have fire pits?

Maybe you couldn’t see the fire pits from the pier, Chuckles, but they are there. The BIG problem is that people arrive at 4 AM to get spots. The main reason is that the area gets shut down for the 4th of July parade. The lots open at 6, and it’s just a huge mess. All the fire pits are taken within an hour (7). Some people hike in and save a spot.

What are Toled, Ohio’s fire regulations for fire pits inside city limits. I want to know if its legal to make a fire pit and what the regulations are for making one legally…

I just called. The lady I spoke with said the fuel source has to be less than 3 feet in diameter by 2 feet deep. It also must be enclosed by some non-combustible fire ring, rocks would even work.
