what can I use in place of barbecue sauce in a recipe. my husband does not like barbecue sauce?
I am making a ground beef skillet casserole. the recipe calls for 1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce. My husband does not like barbecue sauce. What can I use in place to make the meal declicious.
Salsa for sure good flavor and don’t have to add green pepper or onion:-)

I am new in Brooklyn and have seen pizzerias using tomato sauce, where uses barbecue sauce?
I dont want a supermarket pizza, just to find a pizzeria that can use barbecue sauce too.
Im near 45th and 8th if that helps.
They usually use BBQ sauce with chicken on the pizza.
If you order a whole pie then they may just custom make one for you with the BBQ sauce.
