okay about the lava rocks for Gas Grills?

heat tent with grill is this thing supposed to do the same thing or should i still find lava rocks or somthing the same or close?

The lava rocks provide a lot of surface area and are ideal for transforming the direct flame into a more even radiant heat over the entire cooking area.

I have central air, should the grill that covers the filter be facing where the air slots go up or down?

The way the slots face has no bearing on the air intake. This is strictly for appearance sake. The direction of the fins should be determined by the direction that gives you the least conspicuous view of the filter inside when looking from the most common angle.

Are there more Gas Grills than charcoal grills?

probably. they are much more popular these days because of the convenience. you don’t have to wait for the charcoal to get hot, and you don’t have a pile of ashes to clean up. i still prefer that good ole charcoal taste, personally!

Can I burn my personal documents in one of those outdoor enclosed fire pits?

or would it make too many ashes? I am in MN.
shredding just takes too long!

You can take your personal documents to a commercial shredding company if it takes too long to do it yourself. They shred and handle the recycling too, often for very low fees.

I find that if I sort my mail into a “shred” pile and keep the shredder next to the computer, I’ve shredded most of the day’s junk mail before I’ve finished checking my e-mail.
